Jaime’s dance training includes ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, and acro, as well as performing on a competitive team. After high school, Jaime attended Auburn where she got a job teaching at a local dance studio and quickly learned teaching was the career she wanted to pursue. For the past 10 years she has been the Artistic Director and choreographer for the DFX competition team. She has helped us achieve much success!
Courtney began dancing at the age of 3 and was a dancer on the DFX Elite Team until 2013. In the Fall of 2014, she attended Joffrey Ballet School’s Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program in New York City. Upon returning from NYC, Courtney became assistant to the Artist Director of the DFX competition team. Courtney loves working with the kids, and can't wait to watch them grow and develop in their skills!
Ingrid F. Lozano, professional dance educator, award winning choreographer and former professional dancer has been teaching and inspiring students for over 25 years. She specializes in the Vaganova Method and holds a Masters of Education in Dance & Theater from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She trained at the prestigious Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Cuban Ballet of Alicia Alonso and Ballet Folklorico of Amalia Hernandez in Mexico. She is sought by professional dance centers all over the world!
Rebecca Englehart has been dancing since age three, and is classically trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and modern. She has participated in summer intensive programs such as the Kirov Academy of Ballet and the Next Generation Ballet, as well as Surfscape Dance Theatre and the ENC National Circus School in Montreal. In 2013, she added aerial dance to her repertoire. Rebecca is currently a dance minor at the University of Central Florida.
Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Megan Lee’s passion for dance started as soon as she could walk with formal studies and training beginning at the age of 2 at Palm Beach Ballet Center, under the direction of Joan Miller. Her 26 years of dance training has included Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, Choreography, Tap and Jazz dance. She was admitted into UNCSA College program where she graduated with a BFA from the dance department. Ms. Lee is excited to be joining the DFX family!
Rachel has been dancing since the age of four and was on the DFX Elite Competition Team until 2019. Rachel tours with Velocity Dance Convention as an MVA+, is an instructor for the National Dance Alliance and was on the NBA Orlando Magic’s 2019-2020 Hip Hop Team “The 407”. Rachel is so excited to share her knowledge and love of dance with the students of DFX!
Tiffany grew up dancing and performing in various local studios, productions, and companies around the country & Japan. She is trained in multiple genres, holds her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and is certified in Progressive Ballet Technique. Tiffany recently relocated from Virginia where she was the Co-Artistic Director for the annual Nutcracker production. She has taught both recreational and company dancers of all ages!!
Samantha Macklin-Gonzales grew up dancing in Pittsburgh, PA. She attended PointPark University as a dancer major with a jazz concentration. She has taught at various studios and in Orlando, FL in 2009. Since then she has taught and choreographed in the Central Florida area and won many choreography awards herself. She has also been an adjudicator for various competitions for over 10 years. Samantha enjoys all forms off dance but really enjoys teaching jazz, lyrical, acro and technique!
Coming from Massachusetts, Brittany is excited to bring Boston energy to Orlando! 20 years ago, she began dancing, and falling in love with the arts. Growing up training in Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Acro and Musical Theater, she started to choreograph and stage pieces at eleven years old, and loved sharing her creativity with others. Her goal is to help students develop their craft and help them realize how beautiful movement is!
